I also want to say Happy Mothers Day to my mom! My Mom really is the best mother in the world. Growing up with 2 older brothers allowed me to have my mom all to myself. In fact, I never missed not having a sister. My mom is incredibly giving, smart, funny, and tough. So, in honor of Mothers day I thought I'd list my 5 favorite mom stories:
1. When we went shopping in NYC. I think we woke up at about 7am and literally shopped ALL day. I actually collapsed in Bloomingdales makeup department b/c I was sooo tired. My mom has never let me live that one down. She remains the champion of shopping!
2. When we went to Paolos restaurant in Georgetown. I think we ended up splitting 2 bottles of wine and almost had to call my Dad to drive us home. Oh, and how can I forget when I was leaving I somehow managed to take the table cloth with me causing all the glasses to fall down - oops!
3. When we were shopping in Hecks bra department and she somehow got a piece of underwear stuck to her purse. I was laughing so hard that I could barley tell her why.
4. Passion of the Christ story. This will live on in history!!
5. When she watched Luke and Ryan for 5 days while Scott and I were in st. Thomas. We waked in the door to see her bags packed and the car running! I remember telling Luke to give her a kiss (usually you need to drag her out) but she kept saying "it's fine he doesn't have to". There were skid marks on our drive way as she raced out :)
I love you Mom! You are the best mother and I can only hope to be as good to my guys as you are to us. I can always count on you to cry when I need you to or to laugh. You are so appreciated and loved by all of us.
Happy Mothers Day!
